Working for a better place
We had a lovely trip on Canal Boat “Kingfisher” down the Chichester canal, and were given interesting information by the crew, and saw lots of cootes and moorhens nests. This was followed by a picnic under the trees at the picnic tables in the Canal Basin in Chichester, with luckily good weather. A very enjoyable day out.
On March 14th our outing was to the Brighton Toy Museum. We were given a very interesting talk by the manager, Jan, on the history and contents of the museum. Followed by a lunch at the Cricketers in Southwick.
